A message from the founder

Every Monday at work, my colleagues and I would end up having exactly the same discussion.

"What should we have for dinner this week?"

Nobody knew. We were tired of cooking the same meals, tired of scrolling through recipes, and tired of spending money on takeaway simply because we couldn't decide what to eat.

The funny thing was, it wasn't just us. My friends, family and colleagues were all having the same conversation. Week after week. The same frustration. The same guesswork. The same last-minute dash to the supermarket.

When I looked for a solution, most meal planning apps seemed designed for people tracking calories, macros and fitness goals. But that wasn't what I needed.

I simply wanted healthy meals, more variety, a practical grocery list and a way to stay within my budget — without spending hours planning everything myself.

So I built NourishNZ. A meal planning assistant designed to help Kiwi households spend less time deciding what to eat and more time enjoying it.
